- applicant recruiting system, future of recruiting, new applicant tracking, video interview
Do you ever stop and think how recruiting will be done in the future?
There are so many ideas out there all over the Internet. Many people talk about social recruiting software. I hear a lot of recruiters talk about how social HR is just another term for a referral system, which many companies have been doing for some time.
I also see a lot of articles about automation in terms of robots replacing jobs. But we are still quite a time away from having all jobs replaced by computers and robots.
Other trends we can’t discount are companies who do crowdsourcing or hire staff based upon specific tasks. I know lots of people that are moving to sites like Upwork and other forms of hiring by contract. This type of hiring is now becoming more and more relevant in our world.
When you can hire someone from anywhere in the world and hire them based on previous work projects with no serious commitments, it can be a huge advantage in time and cost. Many of these types of workers are based overseas as well, which makes the cost of hiring them much lower than traditional employees.
But what about a regular company that wants to build a culture and actually have people in their office? Or the company that needs to have physical tasks done and wants people to come in person into an office environment?
Some companies need to hire based on performance in an environment like sales where this can’t easily be outsourced to a third party. Some companies also have very intensive training processes and want to ensure the best possible match for their business.
In other words, a lot of organizations need physical people in place. The issue is when a company needs those physical people in place but also has a very high turnover rate in their line of work.
What can these organizations do and how will their hiring practices evolve? I still to this day see organizations who have yet to implement an Applicant Tracking System.
The future for all these companies and many more for recruiting trends are eventually going to move into the Automated Recruiting Systems.
These systems can even today, filter rank, sort and organize your first round of applicants. This allows you to qualify the top group automatically and notify them with an automatic invite to the second round of interviews. Imagine being able to sit down and have your applicants references already captured by having used an online reference checking system, and to top it off you might have even added psychometric testing into the mix automatically too.
If this kind of system exists you could easily sit back and work on more important tasks and I am here to tell you this technology and system exists today already.
VidHiring powered by VidCruiter is the first fully automated hiring system that allows a recruiter to set parameters by how they want their potential applicants and allows you to spend 1/5 to 1/10 the amount of time to recruit a new employee with the same amount of quality if not higher.
This kind of system will be how all hiring is done in the future for many types of organizations and that future is here now.
