Psychometric testing is a series of examinations to determine both the intelligence and emotional aptitude of the candidate before he or she is hired. This employee testing method is used by recruiters all over the world and today, the trend is shifting to an automated form. But not all psychometric tests are text-based. There are also practical exams that can be considered as talent measurement tests that can be especially useful for technical positions. Psychometric testing can too be used to determine whether a candidate is a team player or not.
Each test normally takes around 15 minutes to complete. Once each test is completed, it only takes seconds to generate results. Results of the exam can be emailed to the candidate, depending on the type of system you will using.
