I just read this great Blog post by Lou Adler talking about: Why Virtual Talent Communities Represent the Future of Sourcing. He does make great points.
I talk a lot lately about how cool HR videos should be part of the hiring process to get passive recruiting, but he talks about how previous contacts is the key. I think he brings up a great point because a lot of the hires we have done on our team have come from previous business contacts we have had from the past. I have to agree with him on that point.
We have however also needed to hire experts and our tool was awesome for that and saved us a lot of money and time as well. I always like seeing different ways in which HR is advancing. So here for your enjoyment is his blog post from ere.net (link):
